Winery Workplaces

PROJECT | 2016

Designing a winery is like imagining the history of a community, which gathers around a table, telling stories and myths of a beverage with ancient roots. A tale which allows to understand this culture with the “time of wine”, allowing to spend every single moment of the visit from two different perspectives: wine and nature and wine and the community. The building is shaped around landscape integration, modeled by the people and products’s passage. An oval plate integrates the access from the rows and orchard, a green amphiteatre surrounding the winery. The interiors fluctuate from heavy stone to ethereal lights, with wooden volumes alternating with panoramic windows.
